What Does Your Child Need to Thrive?

Every child is unique and has specific needs that, when met, will help them succeed in life. Whether your child is a brainy bookworm or a star athlete, they will do the best when surrounded by the support and encouragement they need. Astrology can provide insight into which activities and environments are best for the Sun signs in helping them reach their highest potential.

Aries sign
Aries children need to assert their independence. Forget about coddling these feisty kids. They want to be challenged, and do best when they are tackling a new activity or adventure. Cultivate patience and follow through to help them do their best.

Taurus sign
The Taurus kid has an easygoing and patient approach to life. They know how to pace themselves and like to go slowly. Try not to rush them, as this will only bring out their stubborn side. These children grow stronger when they are encouraged to be flexible in the face of change.

Gemini sign
Gemini children are blessed with the gift of gab and can talk about anything with ease. With a vibrant curiosity, these kids love to explore the world around them. Try to encourage them to slow down and take more time with their many interests.

Cancer sign
Caring and nurturing, the Cancer kid likes to stick close to home. Their active imaginations make them excellent artists, and they love to spend time alone cultivating their inner lives. Help them to move through their deep emotions by ensuring they get enough exercise and time outside.

Leo sign
It’s hard to miss a Leo kid, as they love to be the center of attention. These playful little lions enjoy performing and other creative pursuits. Since they can sometimes forget to take others needs into consideration, encourage them to step off the stage from time to time and take a seat in the audience.

Virgo sign
The Virgo child loves to have something to work on, whether it’s a craft project or a school assignment. Always the perfectionist, this sign can be very talented in writing and other focused activities. Help them to relieve their stress by encouraging them to see mistakes as learning opportunities rather than failures.

Libra sign
Charming and sweet, Libra children love to socialize. These little fashion mavens probably enjoy picking out their own outfits for school and may show an early talent for design. Since Libras value opinions other than their own, encourage them to know what they want before they make decisions that involve others.

Scorpio sign
These intense kids want to get to the bottom of things. They love to solve mysteries of all kinds, so make sure they have plenty of challenges to keep them busy. The Scorpio child is not easily fooled, so be upfront with them, even if it makes you nervous.

happy-child-signSagittarius sign
Bold and adventurous, Sagittarius kids want to explore the world. These free-roaming spirits thrive on new experiences and have a huge appetite for learning. Help them to avoid becoming know-it-alls by encouraging them to cultivate a questioning attitude.

Capricorn sign
These serious kids may act like little adults, being far more competent and capable than their actual age would suggest. They love to be in charge and can manage people and projects with ease. Help them to remember they are kids by providing them with plenty of opportunity to play and be spontaneous.

Aquarius sign
Aquarian kids are true individuals who march to the beat of a different drummer. They enjoy having the freedom to express themselves exactly as they are and don’t take kindly to being told what to do. Try to give them a certain amount of structure and routines to help them feel more grounded and secure.

Pisces sign
The Pisces child is gentle and kind, with a soft spot for anyone who needs help or support. They are natural artists and often see things that others miss. These kids also do well when surrounded by plants, animals and art. Help them learn how to have boundaries so that they don’t get overwhelmed by others’ problems.
