What Activities Does Your Child Need to be Happy and Content?

It depends on which elements – Fire, Earth, Air, or Water – are strongest in the chart.

Astrology Children's ActivitiesEach astrological sign is one of the four elements – Fire, Air, Earth or Water – and children are especially sensitive to them. Knowing if your child is an energetic fire sign or a sensitive water sign gives you a headstart in understanding what motivates them and how they relate to their environment.

Depending on the elements in her chart, each child feels a natural affinity for certain settings and activities. These things are the fuel they need to feel alive! It is the source of their vitality and the way they re-charge their batteries.

FAQs about the Elements

Q. How do I find out which elements my child has?

A. First get your child’s chart done, either by a professional astrologer or on our site which produce computerized charts.

You no doubt already know your child’s Sun sign – the most important placement. The element of the Moon and the Ascendant are second in importance. Third are three or more planets in one element. When assessing personality, we use the personal planets only, not the outer planets.

Q. What are the “personal” planets?

A. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars.

If your child has the Sun, Ascendant or planets in Aries, Leo or Sagittarius, their element is predominately Fire.

If your child has the Sun, Ascendant or planets in Gemini, Libra or Aquarius, their element is predominately Air.

If your child has the Sun, Ascendant or planets in Taurus, Virgo or Capricorn, their element is predominately Earth.

If your child has the Sun, Ascendant or planets in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, their element is predominately Water.
