Aries Under Stress – How Aries Handle Stress

aries Burn Baby, BurnAries is perpetual motion. Ruled by Mars, his whole being is about the direction of energy…outwards. In clear, direct lines.

Having said that, if you live with one or work with one, you may actually wonder in which direction Aries is intending to go.

Often Aries is like the giddy schoolboy whirling round around round to see how much dust can get thrown up, or running around in seemingly directionless way causing havoc wherever he passes. In many ways, Aries energy is childlike with all the heat and vitality associated with young kids.

He may seem across everything and into nothing. Multi-tasking is an absolute fallacy- Aries can only really concentrate on doing one thing at once- although will fly over the top of many things. Plan A is forgotten for Plan C and then Plan G and “what do you mean you have a headache already?”

This means that Aries is one sign absolutely prone to over stimulation and physical burnout. Aries literally keeps going until he can go no more. Then he drops…briefly…before jumping back up and starting all over again. Sometimes though, things get too much for him and he doesn’t get up quite as quickly as he did last time or the time before. And when he does, it’s to have a tantrum the strength of which would make a 2 year old deprived of a promised ice cream proud.

What to do? In times of stress, Aries needs to look towards the 2nd house and Taurus.

As hard as the concept is to grasp, Aries needs regularity. Regular work hours, regular meal times, regular rest times…routine. Just another “r” word for Aries. Yet, if you look below the surface of any healthy Aries you will see that he is, in fact, actually quite good at regularity- although he will strenuously deny such an outrage.

He will probably, in the midst of the pandemonium he is wreaking, take his meals at a similar time each day, possibly even eat the same things daily, start and finish work at a similar time each day, work out at a similar time each day, go to bed at a similar time each day. Even if he travels, his routine for this will be just that, a routine. His life may look out of control and exhausting, but as long as these basic routines are kept, he can stay in balance and find the things he would normally lose if left to chaos.

His Mum knew that when he was a kid. Mealtimes, bed times, come home times. Even the “I need you home by dark” was a routine that Aries needed to learn.

If he does get out of routine, his vitality quickly follows. At that point he must relax- in a Taurus step back and smell the roses sort of way. Throw in a little positive ego stroking and he will be back creating havoc in his own irresistable way before you know it.
