Need to Let Go in 2017?

As we enter the holidays and close out the year, we wanted to share with you how to let go of someone or something that is weighing you down. With many people looking to 2017 as the year of the greatest change for mankind, thoughts are focusing on how to be lighter. Letting go of the past is one of the ways to be lighter.

Everyone’s situation is different but ultimately they are the same in that people get hurt and then it can be difficult to forgive. We think we are over something and then it comes back up and rears its ugly head at the most inopportune time. For some of you, you are not even aware that this energy is blocking the light in your heart and that can slow down the flow of abundance into your life. (Meaning love, money, success, happiness, etc.)

First we want to help you to recognize what people or situations still have a hold on your heart. So take a moment to be quiet and breathe deep three times. After the 4th breath, ask to be in a sacred, protected space and then call forth your Angels. Ask your Angels to bring to mind anything that is blocking the light in your heart. Breathe deep to stop any resistance from receiving the answer. There may be more than one person or situation, so keep asking them after you get an answer if there is more.

When you get this information, here is how to finally get these things out of your energy.

  1. “Walking through the Doorway to Release”
  2. Stand in an inside doorway that has a door that can completely shut.
  3. Take a deep breath.

As you are standing there state:

  • “This is the old me with all my burdens and worries, my karma; everything I have carried with me up until this very moment.
  • I release all I hold against (name the people and situation)
  • (Name /situation) has no hold over me in any way.
  • I now take back my power!”

Take a deep breath.

Step over the threshold of the door.

Take another deep breath.

States:

  • “This is the new me!”
  • Close the door behind you.
  • Then look at the closed door. (Very important!)

Take another deep breath.

Anytime you remember something about how this person or situation affected your life in the past, see that closed door in your mind. Handle the person or situations as the “new you” would, for it is truly behind you.

Congratulations! You have just released what was blocking your light in 2017.
