If you’re a Sagittarius Sun, your mission in this lifetime is to seek new horizons, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Even those of us who are NOT Sagittarius Sun Signs can celebrate Sagittarius energy this month! That’s the kind of energy the universe is providing for us this month. From November 22nd to December 21st this year and every year, we have a chance to tune into our need for more meaning in our lives, reach out to philosophies and spiritual teachings that broaden our viewpoints and open our eyes to other realities. And we have a chance to question how we relate to other people, and how tightly we hold on to our own needs for independence and freedom.

Can we still risk intimacy with another person if we fear losing our freedom so strongly? You’ll notice people are more idealistic this month! There are no more Scorpio power plays and manipulations – now we’re into lofty conversations, wanting to hit the open road, sometimes wanting to escape our responsibilities, but more often, just wanting to open the windows in our world and stretch our wings a bit! There’s less attention to details, more open-ended ideas and conversations, more talk of freedom and new ideas and restlessness.

And for some of us who express more negative Sagittarius this month, we may expand beyond our means, beyond our reasonable limits, because we’re a little too optimistic and risk-taking. All signs, Sagittarius included, have positives and negatives! But if you’ve got a Sagittarius in your life, keep in mind that he or she needs something new to get excited about – so take out those travel brochures and plan a trip. Take some time out of your busy life for just dreaming with your Sagittarian, even if you never actually take the trip! Help them regain some enthusiasm and zest for life by thinking about new possibilities, whether that’s a trip, a residence move, or taking a college class!

Real astrology is not about “What’s going to happen to me?” It’s about “How can I best use the energy that’s coming at me?” And the energy that’s coming at you during this Sagittarius month is encouraging you to look beyond your normal limits and explore more of what the world offers you. • Do I have enough goals in my life?
• Can I differentiate between boredom that I feel and restlessness that is signaling a need to get out and do something?
• If I stand back and look at my life, do I like my lifestyle, and what it says about me?
• Am I living my beliefs, or am I trapped in someone else’s idea of what I should be doing each day?
• Do I need to take a more active approach in finding more meaning in my life?This is the month to answer those questions for yourself, regardless of what your Sun Sign is!!
