Scorpio Jealousy

Scorpio Jealousy

Scorpio’s attitude toward jealousy

You’ve got a Scorpion by the tail and you’re not sure what to do next?

Brace yourself.

Pluto-ruled Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac. Scorpios born on the cusp of Libra may possess more social charm than they usually do, and Scorpios born on the cusp of Sagittarius may be more open and friendly.

Scorpios are quite the human dynamos. They’re seething balls of deep sexual energy and are brimming with cunning and intelligence.

They are often said to be intense, and that’s usually true. Even if they have a charming, friendly and funny exterior, don’t think for a second that even while they’re reducing those around them to helpless laughter, they’re letting their own guard down. Scorpios are always watching and learning and studying the people around them, memorizing their weaknesses and cataloging any other details that may come in handy someday. They have x-ray vision and can see right into your soul.

Anger a Scorpion and sooner or later, you’ll feel the sting. They’re very emotional creatures, and they know how to work up a good rage and hold on to a grudge. Vengeance, either plotting or carrying out, is a favorite pastime.

On their good days, Scorpios can be a tower of strength and can do great things. However, below that magnetic surface is often deep, roiling emotions sprinkled with liberal doses of insecurity and suspicion. The challenge for them is to harness that energy and keep the darker emotions under control. Hanging around a Scorpio is like hanging around an active volcano. Even if they appear dormant, they can spit out hot lava and stinging ashes at any time.

Scorpios tend to be very ambitious. They love power, and can be ruthless in the pursuit of it. They’re tough, too, and know how to fight for what they want.

They make for fiercely loyal, true friends to a select few. Abuse that trust, however, and one will be amazed at how quickly the friendship can turn cold.

When Scorpios fall in love, they fall hard. Their mate will get passion to spare! However, insecurity and suspicion will eventually rear their ugly heads, which can cause the Scorpion to be very possessive and very controlling in the relationship.

Jealousy hits a Scorpio hard. They have a hard time subduing it, and they can be insanely jealous. The mate who flirts or is unfaithful will find themselves out on the street, shell-shocked and wondering just what the heck happened. There’s no use appealing to a Scorpio ex, because when they’re done with you and the relationship, then they’re done.

Scorpio tends to be most compatible with the other water signs, Cancer and Pisces. Both signs are gentle, affectionate, emotional, and able to handle the Scorpion’s intense moods and passions.

Earth signs Virgo and Capricorn are strong enough to handle Scorpio, even if they’re not as sympathetic as the water signs. Fiery Sagittarius and airy Libra can also manage well.

Fiery, headstrong Aries and airy, flighty Gemini won’t tolerate a Scorpio’s behavior for long, and neither will freedom-loving air sign Aquarius.

Earthy Taurus and fiery Leo are strong personalities, and not really flexible enough to deal with Scorpio.

Regardless how the relationship ends up, time spent with a Scorpio will be intense, passionate and unforgettable.
