Libra is the sign of relationships and fairness, as such when the Sun is in this sign these matters become important to the individual. Libra Sun signs find beauty, harmony and fairness to be important matters, however when a person considers it important that things be fair they can end up feeling slighted quite often if they are not careful.

Having the Sun in Libra puts your ego and your pride on the line. This is where you must do your best to shine, where you feel the most embarrassed and put down when you fail to meet demands you lay down for yourself. In a sense this is where you are on trial since this is the place where you most make yourself responsible for the actions of another person.

By accepting the responsibility for maintaining the perfect relationship, you have bitten off more than you can chew. When others fail to respond to your efforts to please, you feel that you have failed. Even though your goal is for balance this makes for a very lopsided situation.

You must protect your ego at all costs. Yet you feel guilty when you openly declare your own wishes. It is important that you first know and accept yourself before you are free to pursue your goal of establishing worthwhile relationships. It is not necessary to sacrifice yourself but to support yourself in a fair, responsible manner. Then you will be able to make meaningful contact with others.
