Taurus On Sixth House Cusp

Taurus in 6th house – Taurus on the cusp of the sixth house

You work hard for your financial and material resources – very hard. It is likely that your everyday activities are geared toward (work, service). It’s likely that you do a LOT in your day, and most of it is done attending to the practical day-to-day details of your life.

You may find you have great difficulty in leaving the activities and challenges of the day behind you. Rest and relaxation are not your strong suit as you are more likely to keep busy attending to the healing and wellness of others rather than your own. For this reason, take care not to run yourself into the ground being constantly on the go in the name of service.

The most important facet, of course, of the sixth house is that of service to the public, or humanity in general. Relationships with those with whom he works should also be involved, and, of course, the health aspect. Those are the three most important qualities we are concerned with when it comes to the sixth house, on the level of reincarnation and karma.

With the aspect of service, the lower octave Taurus is of service only from the viewpoint of the “pat on the back,” the gratification he can receive from others expressing their gratitude to him. The lower octave of Taurus on the cusp of the sixth house would never let you forget what he has done for you, and with this attitude, “doing” is not service at all. This attitude takes away the true “giving” principle.

Taurus on the cusp of the sixth house must learn to give of himself and his possessions freely to others from the viewpoint of the welfare of humanity rather than his emulation or having the world see him as a person who is always doing for others.

Taurus on the cusp of the sixth house must learn that in his working relationships with others there must be the harmony and peace. Taurus can either be a great mediator or a great disturber with co-workers or those who work under him. An unevolved Taurus can be rather a dictator when it comes to supervising others.

When it comes to the health aspect, the Taurus must learn to conserve his energy. He can be a tremendous worker, expending great energy, but tends to overdo it. Healthwise they are usually strong and have great recuperative powers.

They should learn, of course, the value of health, the value of taking care of this physical vehicle through which they are functioning. In a very negative and humorous way, the Taurus man, in particular, tends to be the biggest baby of all when he is ill and demands a great deal of attention. The great lesson, of course, involved with Taurus on the cusp of the sixth house is the selfless service to others.
