Virgo in 8th house – Virgo on the cusp of the eighth house

You likely seek power and/or influence through your ability to attend to details and follow through on your plans. By building systems and programs for others, you find the resources to provide for yourself in your day-to-day life.

You may have lofty expectations for your compensation for your contributions to others, and may find that you get upset or angry with others when they don’t “appreciate” or “value” your services. It is important for you to be clear about your expectations up front so there is no question or misunderstanding once your work or service has been provided.

With Virgo On Eight House Cusp we are dealing with the Search for Truth, Metaphysics, Astrology, or any discipline which will bring the essence of Truth, or be involved with the essence of Truth. Again, the superficiality of Virgo enters into the picture. Will the Virgo on the cusp of the eighth house sincerely seek Truth or merely scratch the surface? Truth in itself represents cosmic knowledge, or in an orthodox way, the laws of God.

Here again we are involved with the soul’s identification through the Virgo and the soul qualities and the cosmic law functioning with the knowledge that Virgo can bring to this. Just as Virgo in the second house must have a solidly built foundation of self-evaluation, in the eighth house he must have a solid and sincere approach to the higher knowledge with which he is dealing.

In the eight house we are dealing with higher values, and the Virgo must align himself with sincere higher values, yet at the same time, through the rulership of Virgo by Mercury, apply this to the everyday experiences. In many ways, the eighth house is representative of the mission of Jesus, bringing the cosmic knowledge to the level of mankind, so that mankind can understand, relate to it, and apply to life itself. Again, this is a service of Virgo.
